Why this mom believes you can feel better, build income, and still eat the ice cream 🍦
As a mom, and honestly a HUMAN, I’ve heard it all: “No sugar.” “Wake up at 5am.” “Clean eating only.” But what if… wellness didn’t have to mean giving everything up?
THE PROBLEM
Moms are always feeling the pressure to be perfect at everything or follow "rules" that are seriously just unrealistic and unattainable for the average person like me.
Here are just a few examples:
Don't feed your family processed foods but fresh veggies from the grocery store are OK (hinting that most foods are processed here, unpopular opinion alert.)
If you're going to eat bread, it can only be sourdough made from your great Aunt Sallys cousin Patricia's Aunt on her dad's side that passed down the starter that she made on a boat coming from Europe in the 1900's.
Work out 4 times a week.
Work like you don't have kids and parent like you don't work.
Gentle parent but not too gentle that they aren't civilized humans.
Make sure you're getting enough rest but also make sure you stay up late or get up early so you can have alone time.
Montessori school is great but also just let them be kids and don't make them do "grown-up tasks."
Make sure you take your kids outside but don't get dirty!
I'll stop there because I know you have a running list of your own in your head right now.
YOU DON'T NEED MORE FOOD RULES
You need consistent habits that fit YOUR life.
You need more energy, true support and a realistic mom friend that will support you 100%.
MY STORY
I’m a trained chef + wellness mentor, and I teach women how to feel better in their bodies and build income from products they already use — without the hustle or pressure. Because I believe in simple, nature-rooted routines. And yeah… still eating the ice cream 🍦
