embracing routines + rituals after a week away

Happy, Feel Good Friday!


My kids and I are home from a week away where we visited family in SC. We spent time in the Charleston area exploring the history and beaches at Isle of Palms. We were lucky to be staying with family and enjoyed pool time and walks to the playground.


As I'm sure you can tell, I THRIVE on routine + my daily rituals. While we were away, I was able to continue nourishing my body with balanced foods, enjoyed my daily coffee + greens as well as a shake for added nutrients. There were a few mornings I had to skip my morning reading due to sleeping in (gasp!) and waking up at the same time as my kids but I was able to fit it in later in the day when I had a few minutes.


In the past when I've been off my routine, it has been VERY anxiety inducing for me. This time around, I felt really confident in myself and in the simplicity of my rituals; I have the fundamentals down and I was able to listen to my body + mind and welcome (and challenge) myself to switch up my routines and go with the flow of the day.


Needless to say, I AM looking forward to being back home + engaging in my usual rituals but I'm also going to give myself grace and ease in.


I'm going to be hosting a workshop this Friday August 30. We'll explore and sample some Arbonne products you can add to your daily routine, and I'll also offer the opportunity for us to explore rituals we can embrace this fall as we celebrate the unofficial end-of-summer.
